A NASA satellite has captured this photo of the first occurrence this summer of mysterious shiny polar clouds that form 50 miles above Earth’s surface.

That picture can't have been taken by a satellite - this phenomenon only occurs around 50 miles above the earths surface. The satellite imagery referred to in the article is actually here.
